Moon events are held on the Friday closest to the full or new moon during the cooler months from November to April.  These events are available for sponsorship. Check out what we offer here. Enjoy yoga and meditation classes by the lake in the peaceful urban oasis of Dubai Internet city. Instructors donate their time, so we ask you to give a minimum donation of AED 50 per class which is given to our selected charity for the year.

What is the difference between Full Moon yoga and New Moon Yoga?
During the full moon, we practise a gentler style of yoga like hatha and yin yoga as the energy is more contemplative and reflective.
During the new moon we can feel often feel a lack of energy so we practise a stronger style of yoga like ashtanga vinyasa and power yoga.

Dubai Internet City

Our events are held at Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre.
We are located between buildings 1 & 2 next to the lake.
Getting there by metro

The closest metro station is Nakheel Metro Station (University Station) (between Dubai Marina metro station and Dubai Internet City station). Take the exit towards Sheikh Zayed Road South (or seaside). Cross the American University car park and walk right on Al Assad Street. Then walk left on Al Marsad Street and right on Al Falak Street. Internet City Building 1 and 2 will be on your right hand side. Amphitheater is located behind them.

Getting there by Uber/Taxi (Get a free ride)

Yogafest has partnered with Uber to offer new users a free ride to our events. Just copy the promo code YOGAFESTDXB and join today. For existing users, why not carpool, and split the fare using the “Share Fare” function in Uber, or by riding with a friend new to Uber for free.

Getting there by bus

The following busses stop at the bus stop near the amphitheater: 8, 83, 85 ,88, X28. All these buses can be reached from Nakheel Metro Station as well.

Getting there by car

Sheikh Zayed Road (exit 32) and Jumeirah Road are sign posted to drive to Dubai Internet City (or you can follow Dubai Media City). If you are coming along E44 Al Khail Road or E311 Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (Emirates Road), then take exit to Hessa Street West. We have also prepared from Google Map suggested driving directions from several starting points.

As a ‘not for profit’ community event, we are very grateful to our corporate sponsors, vendors and volunteers, without whom our events could not take place. If you have any questions regarding our sponsorship, view our Moonfest event brochure.

This season we are supporting Smile Train

Smile Train is an international charity providing corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates. Headquartered in New York City and founded in 1999, Smile Train provides free corrective cleft surgery in 87 countries, training local doctors and providing hospital funding for the procedures. Yogafest Middle East is proud to be supporting this charity through our community yoga events. Funds raised from our events will go to Jubilee Mission Hospital in Kerala, India. A trip will be arranged in January to visit the hospital.  If you wish to join founder Elaine Kelly, just send us an email.
